What is the joint pain protein to avoid?
The protein that can cause joint pain is collagen. Collagen is important for keeping joints healthy, but when it breaks down, it can make the joints inflamed and painful. Additionally, eating a lot of animal sources of collagen from processed foods may increase inflammation in the body. This inflammation can damage cartilage in the joints and cause more pain. So it is good to eat fewer animal sources of collagen, such as red meat and processed dairy products, to reduce joint pain and keep joints healthy.

Here is the link to what I use to manage my inflammation.

Meet Maria Custode

For years, I was running on empty—long hours, low energy, poor sleep, and a body that just wasn’t responding the way it used to.
I finally realized… it wasn’t about trying harder. It was about supporting my body differently.

Now, I focus on what actually works:
more energy, better sleep, less inflammation, and a lifestyle I can sustain.
And I help other women over 40 do the same—without extremes or quick fixes.

Because this chapter isn’t about slowing down…
it’s about finally feeling like yourself again.

If you’re feeling off or stuck, I’m always happy to share what’s been working for me 💛
